It ends with a spectacular party in which flaky Kim Crosier helps Frank in Stormy the Cat unmask the murder. In between there’s plenty of action and a lot of Frank’s cat-jinks.

If The Cat’s Away, book 8 in the 9 Lives Cozy Mystery Series, has a new name! It’s now called Listen to the Cat!
The name change came about when I started dreaming up book 9 in the series. Book 9 is a summer story and Christy and the crew are on vacation together once again. The word “away” in the title of book 8 seemed much more appropriate for book 9. With a little tweaking it became When the Cat’s Away. That book will be available in 2024.
So what to call book 8? Well, Frank in Stormy the Cat solved that problem. Book 8 introduces two new characters who can hear Frank’s mind-speak, but refuse to acknowledge it. The new title of book 8 reflects Frank’s frustration and captures an on-going joke in the the book.

The Cat Came Back and The Cat’s Paw, audiobooks one and two in the 9 Lives Cozy Mystery Series, are now available in wide distribution. That means you can access them through over two dozen retailers. As well, it is now available for libraries to stock, so check your local library to see if they’re available there.

Cat in the Limelight, book 6 in the 9 Lives Cozy Mystery Series, launched April 20, 2021. Due to pandemic problems, publication was postponed a couple of times, but now that it’s available, I’m delighted!

The Hearts of Rebellion series has had a cover makeover. I love the new look, particularly the fonts used for the titles. Also like the way the series flash is used to divide the author and title. Nice!

Let Sleeping Cats Lie, Book 4 in the 9 Lives Cozy Mystery series, launches January 8, 2019. It has been accepted as a Bookbub New Release, going out to a readership of over 2 million. I’m very excited to see what benefits this will bring!
Make Time for Love, book 1 in my new time travel series, Forward in Time, is now in pre-sale. The launch date is February 19. It too has been accepted as a Bookbub New Release, though the audience is much smaller – only around 300,000. So exciting!

Ridgeway, a time travel novel of 1866, was launched as a single title release in e- and print formats. The e-book is widely available, while the print can be ordered by bookstores through Ingram Distribution or Amazon.
A Recipe for Trouble is now also available in print format, available on Amazon or bookstores can order through Ingram Distribution.

A Recipe for Trouble, my stand-alone mystery romance, is now available in novel format! The book was serialized on Radish last year and was available on a chapter-by-chapter basis. It’s a long book though, so the new e-book format is a steal compared to buying the story on a chapter basis.
Like the 9 Lives series, A Recipe for Trouble is set in Vancouver, British Columbia. This time the action centres around a high-level culinary competition that takes place in a culinary school. My heroine, Angelina, is an event planner for the college and she has her hands full keeping the high-strung chefs in line—and alive! She’s helped by a well-meaning, but sometimes too efficient secretary with magical powers, whose primary goal is to set her up with her gorgeous co-worker, Craig. When the bodies start to pile up, it’s up to Craig and Angelina to keep the competition going, catch the murderer and find out if what they are feeling for each other is real.

Fighting Fate, my contemporary time-travel romance, is temporarily out of print. I’m working to republish it again in 2018 as book 1 in a new time-travel series. Fighting Fate tells the story of Faith and Cody’s romance, and introduces Faith’s swashbuckling ancestor, Andrew. Book 2 is set in pre-revolution Boston and is the story of Andrew’s romance. Book 3 will focus on Faith’s palaeontologist sister, Elizabeth (Liz) and the find she makes while digging for bones in the West. Book 4 will tie up Faith’s Boston family and link to a new different one. It will all start sometime in 2018. Look for it! [Update January 2019, Fighting Fate now has a name change – Make Time for Love.
