Researching 9 Lives – Day 5

A lovely, sunny, and hot day—and a lazy Rathtrevor Beach day. High tide occurred in the morning, which meant deep water…or not. The water rarely gets really deep at Rathtrevor, which is what makes it such a great kids beach.

We drove over to the provincial park in the early afternoon. There are fewer tidal pools on that side of the bay, so the sand is harder. We walked down the beach and into the water. After about fifteen minutes we were in water that was up to my mid thighs. Then I hit a sand bar and it was back down to my knees. Time to get in! The water is lovely, warm enough to get in easily, but cool enough to be refreshing. We paddled around for about a half an hour before leaving the water.

A slight mishap had us discovering the local emergency clinic. A new facility, it lies on the outskirts of town. After an hour and a half we were finished there, with a minor repair done. Now, can I use it as a site visit? A thought to throw into the plotting mix and let ferment.
