Sometimes I am fascinated by something new I am seeing when I travel, like waterfalls (Qualicum and Englisman River), glaciers (coming up), or even trees (Cathedral Grove).

Depending on when and where the groupings change. Here are some photos from Vancouver Island that simply didn’t fit anywhere.

Arbutus Trees.

These trees shed their bark and grow in the oddest of shapes. You see them a lot in the Parksville area but not so much in Vancouver, so for me, they are fascinating.
